About The Speaker

Sandy Cooper | CRNP, Functional Medicine Practitioner & Co-Founder, Practical Health

A board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, Sandy has built a distinguished career spanning the U.S. Air Force, Georgetown University, and a decade at Magee-Womens Hospital.

Her approach was transformed during her tenure at the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine, founded by Dr. Mark Hyman. In 2025, Sandy brought this expertise home to the Sewickley community by opening Practical Healing, where she partners with patients to achieve transformative, root-cause healing.

About The Talk

Join Sandy for an enlightening look at how Functional Medicine shifts the focus from managing symptoms to uncovering the root causes of illness. This session explores how advanced diagnostics—paired with the "five pillars" of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and purpose—can significantly enhance your health span and longevity. Learn what to expect from a whole-person approach to wellness and gain practical tools to thrive at every stage of life.
